Inside Out Day

Inside Out Day during Children’s Mental Health Week is an awareness campaign that aims to enable young people to start talking about their mental health.

How someone looks on the outside doesn’t necessarily reflect how they are truly feeling on the inside, so it is important to always be kind and think of others.

Turn your clothes inside out to get important conversations started.  No one should be embarrassed about how they feel.

YogaBugs has created some great visualisations and workshops to teach children to stop bullying themselves, spread happiness and about how to be kind to others.

This year Inside Out Day is partnering with the mental health charity Beyond to create the UK’s first ever mental health and wellbeing festival for primary and secondary schools.

The Now and Beyond Festival on Inside Out Day aims to tackle the mental health crisis facing our school children. It has never been so necessary to create robust mental health and wellbeing provisions in schools.

Mindfulness is an important tool for children to learn at a young age, and here at YogaBugs we incorporate relaxation and mindfulness into all of our sessions. We create guided visualisations and breathing technique workshops which can be accessed by everyone. Click Here to see some of what we do.

YogaBugs virtual programme can be accessed by every pupil within school, whether remote learning or still attending. Take a look at this short video to see how YogaBugs can help children ‘Express Emotions’.
